Field Account Manager to American Express

Would you like to be part the exciting journey and help expanding the American Express acceptance portfolio in Norway? Are you a relationship builder with solid sales experience and ability to execute solution sales to strategic customers? We are looking for a Field Account Manager to drive American Express acceptance in the Norwegian market to new and existing customers!

You will represent American Express and our partner at strategic and management level in our customer relationships and will build confidence in American Express as a partner for both current business needs and forward-looking strategies. This strategic position will report to our partner's Sales Director in Norway as well as to the American Express Partner Director and is part of a sales team working with local and Nordic customers. We are looking for candidates who enjoy commercial challenges and still feel a strong inner drive to deliver top results.

Your main responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Distinct focus on customer processes and sales of American Express acceptance to customers.
  • Relevant higher education with good results.
  • Ability to keep many activities with short deadlines and varying complexities going at the same time.
  • Ambitious, international thinking, focused, and thriving in a hectic and change-oriented environment.
  • Loyal, brave and fearless.
  • Determined to create results for American Express & our strategic partner
  • Focused, result oriented and structured in your approach, analytical and responsible person.
  • Have close contact with your customers at a strategic level and be the American Express ambassador.
  • Individual sales responsibility for achieving sales goals, as well a contributing as a team player in the sales team.
  • Develop sales results by a structured approach to the sales process, be responsible for the quality at all levels to reach the sales objectives with confidence.

Your experience and expertise

We'd love to hear from you if you can tick off any or all of the qualifications below:

  • At least 5+ years of sales experience, with experience in a KAM role in a hectic sales environment.
  • Experience in selling solution-based products and services.
  • Outgoing and easily create relationships with people, have self-confidence in meeting with customer leaders.
  • Good Norwegian and English knowledge, both orally and in writing, is a prerequisite.
