Job Description:

Join an enthusiastic team and take on a key role in growing our international brand portfolio across Finland.

The person will work in our On-Trade Channel in Finland, based in Helsinki, building the business for long term success.

Forging strong relationships with local wholesalers and national accounts will be key to ensure that meeting our ambitious growth targets.

 

Main accountabilities:

  • Ownership of the On-Trade Channel in Finland
    • Responsible for hospitality volume and sales results
    • Get deep understanding of innovations and trends in the market
    • Analyze and Propose strategic direction based on market knowledge and business priorities
  • Management
    • Leading strategic approach (Expansion) within hospitality/whs to meet long term growth expectations
    • Able to analyse market data and translating this into strategic actions 
    • Analyze operations and performance on a regular basis to improve ways of working and define strategic target setting
    • Full budget responsibility with expectations to understand and manage all parts of the P&L
    • Full responsibility of commercial guidelines to meet growth expectations
    • Leading and Developing local talents to strengthen our people pipeline
  • National account management
    • Map and connect with all relevant National Accounts in Finland
    • Lead and negotiate tender to secure central listings for our brands
    • Drive rate of sale through implementation of promotions and activations as part of yearly commercial calendar
  • Wholesaler management
    • Build a relationship with national wholesaler across Finland
    • Ensure listings at wholesalers to secure/grow distribution in on-trade to drive volume
    • Negotiate and implement our wholesaler compensation model
    • Drive rate of sale through implementation of promotions and activations as part of yearly commercial calendar
  • Brand activation
    • Drive brand awareness/growth together with NA through strong annual activation calendar
    • Act as SPOC for the marketing and trade marketing team
    • Follow up on local roll-out of our marketing calendar
  • Field sales
    • Establish routines with the sales reps in hospitality
    • Organize a monthly meeting where you discuss results, cascade new targets and give trainings.
    • Analyze our operations and performance on a regular basis to improve our way of working

 Requirements: 

  • Experience in various commercial positions (preferably Alcoholic Beverages Finland)
  • Proven networker, strong at building relationships
  • Strong Financial & Accounting skills (ERP experience)
  • Full budget responsibility and able to understand and manage all parts of the P&L
  • Strong leadership skills – preferably team lead experience in previous role
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking – ability to DREAM BIG with keen eye for details
  • Brand activation / Brand building experience
  • Prepared to work in a fast paced environment with daily challenges yet understanding of priorities
  • native Finnish, fluent English

 

The employment is fulltime and ongoing. Start date January/February.
