JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join an international team and get ready to grow our global brand portfolio across the Retail environment in Finland. You will be responsible and managing our business relationship with all Key customer across the Retail and Convenience channel. Negotiating yearly agreements as well as driving our annual promotional calendar will be your key responsibilities. You will have a crucial role for business performance as our local source of knowledge and will carry full ownership of our performance. This is your chance to become part of our team working alongside a Country Manager, Retail Field Sales Team and an On-Trade Key Account Manager plus the wider Nordics Operational team as key stakeholder. Our office is in the middle of vibrant Helsinki located at Postitalo.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Build relationship with retail chains:
    • Get the beer category to grow in the channels
    • Lead negotiations with all retailers and banners
    • Ensure execution of our activation calendar
    • Manage day-to-day operations related to your own customers
  • Ownership of the growth across  Retail Finland
    • Responsible for the volume and commercial result across Retail Finland
    • Get deep understanding of innovations and trends in the market
    • Propose new strategies based on gained knowledge and expertise
    • Analyze our operations and performance on a regular basis to improve our way of working

WHAT IS EXPECTED:

  • COMMERCIAL
    • Category expansion – i.e.: providing insightful market analysis in order to identify R&Os
    • Integrated commercial planning – i.e.: game plan, 52week/big bet calendar
    • Commercial performance analysis – i.e.: analyzing data to provide insights and close gaps
    • Marketing knowledge – i.e.: brand positioning, target segments, key occasions
  • KEY ACCOUNTS
    • Insights & data-based selling – i.e.: build tailored selling strategies by leveraging retailers BP
    • Negotiating, bargaining & collaboration – i.e.: strategic judgement executing challenges
    • P&L management – i.e.: track P&L performance, develop action plans and involve RevMan

  

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Analytical and solution driven approach towards problem solving
  • Hands on mentality and mental flexibility
  • Proven networker, strong at building relationships
  • Financial knowledge, able to manage a P&L
  • Prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with daily challenges
  • Advanced with Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel)
  • Finnish Native Speaker / Company Language English
  • Experience in leading 3rd party Agencies
  • FMCG Retail Experience – focus on (alcoholic) Beverage segment preferred
  • Strong Stakeholder Management – from HQ Senior Leadership to Regional Store Owner
  • Trade Marketing / Field Sales Experience beneficial but not mandatory

The employment is fulltime and ongoing. Start date asap in November.

Location: center of Helsinki

The compensation consists of a base salary and possible bonus based on your performance.
